Chinese Herbal Medicine  

If patient is receiving acupuncture treatment in conjuction with Chinese herbs, then there is no consultation charge. Herbs will be charged according to formula - typical prices are listed below.

Initial consultation (60 minutes) ............................... £40 + cost of herbal medicine.

Follow up consultation (30 minutes) ....................... £30  + cost of herbal medicine.

100g powder formula, typical price .......................... £25 (approximately 2 weeks supply)

Pills (tea pills), typical price for 10 days supply ..................... £7 - £10

 

There is no dispensary at the practice. Herbs are to be collected from the practice about 2 days from the consultation date. Unfortunately new legislation does not permit herbs to be sent directly from the supplier to the patient's address. All herbs are supplied from the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM) approved suppliers.
